Many drying need to use rotary dryer, such as slime drying, distiller's grains drying, grass drying, ore drying, quartz sand drying, yellow sand drying, casting sand drying, calcium carbonate drying and so on.
The most common use of the above-mentioned drying is a single-cylinder rotary dryer (single-cylinder, relative to the multi-layer sleeve rotary dryer). In actual use, it is found that these single-cylinder dryers generally have higher energy consumption. Compared with fluidized bed and fluidized bed drying, it is easier to control and operate than fluidized bed and fluidized bed. And not easily affected by the wind too much. (Fluidized bed and fluidized bed drying are easily affected by wind force. When the resistance of cloth bag dust removal and water film dust removal changes, the performance of fluidized bed and fluidized bed will deteriorate and cannot be used in serious cases, while the drying machine will not have such a great impact. In a word, the dryer is relatively easy to use and does not require much from workers. So in many places, or use a lot. However, high energy consumption also makes users have a headache. After all, it is gobbling silver every day, which is virtually wasted.
The so-called multi-layer sleeve drum dryer, compared with the conventional drum dryer, one has only one cylinder, one is a plurality of cylinders set together, the material from the inner cylinder, then to the middle cylinder, then to the outer cylinder. The same is the dryer, if the length of the same, multi-layer (three-layer for example) compared with the single-cylinder, drying stroke increased by three times. That is to say, the multi-layer dryer covers an area of only 1/3 of a single cylinder compared with a single cylinder.
Furthermore, because the three cylinders themselves form a heat preservation and drying system, that is, the heat emitted from the surface of the inner cylinder can be dried in the middle cylinder, the energy consumption will naturally be greatly reduced when these aspects are combined.
Take dry quartz sand as an example. Compared with the single-cylinder rotary dryer, the multi-layer sleeve type quartz sand has the same heating mode (both are hot air type) and other conditions. The multi-layer sleeve type quartz sand dryer consumes 8kg of coal per ton of sand, while the single-cylinder type needs as much as 12kg per ton of sand.
Taking yellow sand drying as an example, the multi-layer sleeve dryer only needs about 5 yuan to dry 1 ton of sand, while the single-cylinder dryer needs more than 10 yuan.
From the hot air temperature, it can also be seen that under the same inlet air temperature, the exhaust gas temperature of the single-cylinder dryer needs to be above 85 degrees to dry the sand, while the multi-layer drum only needs about 60 degrees.
For high moisture materials, such as bean dregs drying, distiller's grains drying, grass drying, etc., multi-layer sleeve energy saving is more obvious, its drying cost is more economical.
