Product Description

Introduction 
Spray drying is a liquid processing technology widely used in the drying industry. It is suitable for producing powdery and granular solid products from liquid raw materials such as solutions, emulsions, suspensions, and pastes. Therefore, spray drying is an ideal drying process when the particle size distribution, residual moisture content, bulk density, and particle shape of the finished product must meet certain standards.


Equipment Composition 
This machine is mainly composed of a blower, heating device, metering feeder, drying tower, centrifugal atomizer, collector (cyclone collector plus bag dust collector), discharger, air supply pipeline, induced draft fan, and electrical control cabinet.


Working Principle 
After filtration and heating, the air enters the air distributor at the top of the dryer, and the hot air enters the drying chamber in a spiral shape. The liquid material is sprayed into extremely fine mist-like droplets by a high-speed centrifugal atomizer at the top of the tower, and it comes into contact with the hot air in a concurrent flow. In a very short time, it can be dried into a finished product. The finished product is continuously output from the bottom of the drying tower and the cyclone separator, and the waste gas is exhausted by the fan. Depending on the material properties, the exhaust gas can be treated by water washing or a bag dust collector. Centrifugal spray drying is fast, and the surface area of the liquid material is greatly increased after atomization. In the hot air flow, 95%-98% of the water can be evaporated instantly, and the drying time is only a few seconds. It is especially suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials. The product has good uniformity, fluidity, and solubility, high purity, and good quality. The production process is simplified, and the operation and control are convenient. For wet selection, it reduces the production process and improves the product purity. The particle size, bulk density, and moisture content of the product can be adjusted, controlled, and managed conveniently within a certain range by changing the operating conditions.

(1) Chemical Industry: Sodium (potassium) fluoride, basic dye pigments, dye intermediates, compound fertilizers, formaldehyde silicic acid, catalysts, sulfuric acid agents, amino acids, fumed silica, etc.

(2) Plastics and Resins: AB, ABS emulsion, urea-formaldehyde resin, phenolic resin, melamine resin, formaldehyde resin, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, etc.

(3) Food Industry: High-fat milk powder, whey, cocoa milk powder, milk substitutes, blood powder, egg white (yolk), etc.

(4) Food and Plants: Oats, chicken juice, coffee, instant tea, seasoning, meat, protein, soybeans, peanut protein, hydrolysates, etc.

(5) Sugars: Corn syrup, corn starch, glucose, pectin, maltose, potassium sorbate, etc.

(6) Ceramics: Aluminum oxide, ceramic tile materials, magnesium oxide, talc powder, etc.

  Note: Water evaporation is related to the characteristics of the material and the inlet and outlet temperatures of the hot air. When the outlet temperature is 90°C, the water evaporation increases, and the heat consumption increases.
