A belt dryer is a continuous operation machine that uses dynamic drying. Materials are evenly spread on a mesh conveyor belt from the feed end and slowly move with the belt; moisture is removed through heat conduction and convection, achieving continuous drying. The temperature and air speed are adjustable to meet the needs of different materials.

Wet materials are fed quantitatively, uniformly, and continuously to the lower part of the drying tube via a speed-adjustable screw feeder. They are dispersed by a high-speed hot air stream and undergo heat and mass transfer during the concurrent gas-solid flow process, enabling the materials to dry. The dried solid materials enter the cyclone separator with the air stream, are separated, and collected. Waste gas is discharged by a fan. Due to the high-speed flow of gas relative to the material particles and the large contact area between the gas and solid phases, the volumetric heat transfer coefficient is quite large. Airflow drying is suitable for processing materials with small particle sizes where the drying process is mainly controlled by surface vaporization.

Spray drying is a liquid processing technology widely used in the drying industry. It is suitable for producing powdery and granular solid products from solution, emulsion, suspension, and paste-like liquid raw materials. Therefore, spray drying is an ideal drying process when the particle size distribution, residual moisture content, bulk density, and particle shape of the finished product must meet certain standards.
